This year World IP Day celebrated the creativity, innovation, and courage of women driving change in our world. This theme emphasizes an increased focus on promoting diversity and inclusion of women and visible minorities through all aspects of society, and the IP profession is no exception. While we celebrate the wins it is also useful to consider the ongoing challenges, specifically that while women enter the legal profession in at least equal numbers to men, women continue to be underrepresented in private practice, and even more so in IP firms.

Take a break from BIO and join us to enjoy coffee and informal networking with other IP professionals from around the world to exchange our ideas and experiences on this topic as we consider what we as IP practitioners can do to advance women’s careers within our firms. Both men and women are welcome to attend to share their thoughts on this important subject with their peers.
