Josh is an articling student at Oyen Wiggs Green & Mutala LLP, having completed his JD at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC. Prior to law school, Josh obtained a Bachelors of Applied Science from the University of Toronto in Mechanical Engineering, minoring in bio-engineering. His undergraduate thesis involved research for developing a low-cost prosthetic knee suitable for use in third-world countries.
Prior to entering law, Josh worked for over 2 years at IBM as a consultant, where he developed software for various clients on consulting engagements. During law, Josh worked as a clinician in the Law Students Legal Advice Program, and developed a suite of Android applications to help fellow law students. Josh continues pursuing his passion for technology through his ongoing work on open source blockchain and web development platforms.
During his free time, Josh enjoys playing basketball, climbing, being outdoors, playing video games, and backpacking other countries when given the chance.
